As specialists in tight tolerance turning of small components, Voskuil Machine Co. was contracted to manufacture the steel fill boss shown here. Constructed from steel and measuring 0.75" in length, we turned the outside diameter to 1-3/8" and then machined the internal threads. Secondary operations consisted of deburring, and then applying the painted finish. Both visual and dimensional inspections verified that we satisfied the requirements of the customer specifications.
